This program will describe a core Accident Prevention Plan
developed for the University of Washington, that covers general
health and safety information for all employees and replaces an
existing requirement for departments to create independent
departmental health and safety plans. This reduced administrative
burden and increased compliance for the University. Departments
will supplement the core plan with site-specific information to
cover hazards not addressed in the core plan. A video was created
to complement the plan and can be shown to new employees during
